We are a community chartered credit union. You are eligible for membership if you live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, attend school, perform volunteer services, participate in associations headquartered in, participate in programs to relieve poverty or distress which are located in, or incorporated or unincorporated organizations located in or maintaining a facility in the County of Wayne in Michigan. If you’re unsure, give us a call or send us an e-mail and we will let you know your eligibility status.
How much does it cost to open an account?
We require a $5 minimum deposit to your account and a $20 minimum deposit to open a checking account. We also require a $2.00 membership fee. This $2.00 fee goes towards the non-profit organizations, Wayne Main Street and the Community Social Services of Wayne County. Both of these organizations promote revitalization of the community and help to better the lives of families and individuals. We ask that you stop by our office to open your account. Be sure to bring valid identification so our financial relationship can start immediately. We value all of our members and strive to keep their financial health our main concern.
Up to what amount are my deposits insured?
Your deposits are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
